Under the skin of conflict (2004), is a documentary directed by Harmonia Carmona, with a script written by Òscar Vilarroya (director of the chair “El Cervell Social”) and produced by the Audiovisual Workshop of the University of Valencia. Its argument is based on quotidian stories which help dig deeper into the neurological and biological bases that are hidden behind social behaviours as habitual as learning, cooperation or the elaboration of prejudices. In 2004 “Under the skin conflict” won the prize for the “Best documentary” in the socio-humanistic category at the Biannual International Awards in Scientific Cinema of Ronda (Málaga). In 2006, it won the diploma of honour in the 12th Biannual Awards in Spanish Scientific Film and Video.
