Conferencia y mesa redonda sobre el terrorismo actual y proyección del documental Madrid 11-M.

The chair "the social brain" will hold a dialog titled SOCIAL AND PERSONALITY DYNAMICS IN ISLAMIC TERRORISM. This event will take place next November 21st, at 18:00 pm, in the auditorium of the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica Barcelona (PRBB).  This proposal responds to the need to analyze from a scientific point of vew the biological and sociocultural aspects surrounding the actors from the conflict. To do so, the participants involved will be the anthropologist, Scott Atran and the psychiatrist Adolf Tobeña. This dialog will finish with Madrid 11M, the documentary.

Scott Atran is a research director in anthropology at the National Center for Scientific Research in Paris, France. He is also visiting professor of psychology and public policy at the University of Michigan and presidential scholar in sociology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York City. Atran is currently working on his next book about the  11M trial.
